Luis Aragones insists he will not remain Spain coach, even if the national team win Euro 2008.

The veteran boss has led Spain to the semi-finals of the European Championship for the first time in 24 years.

Sunday’s penalty shoot-out win over world champions Italy has set up a last-four showdown with Group D rivals Russia in Vienna on Thursday evening.

I know the match two years ago between Germany and Italy has been like the best match of the tournament but, it’s not what I want to remember (for probably the rest of my life). That was when it really dawned on me that I had been secretly liking the German national team all along since the beginning of the tournament.

frank, there’s Turkey first to deal with first. The comeback kings of this tournament. I know they may have injury concerns and suspensions but their performances against Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Croatia had left me worried on how they will perform against Germany. I had watched all those matches and I was left speechless at the end of it each time.

And two years ago during the World Cup, when it looked like it’s time for the penalty shootout, Italy scored at the dying minutes in the added extra-time in the semi-finals against Germany. I don’t want another scenario again…back then I really almost cried that Germany is out.

All the group winners so far have crashed out…Spain better watch out now.

I,m dutch but this is unbelievable. there were 100.000 oranje-supporters in Basel and 35.000 in stadium. I didnt here them, there were to drunk of celebrating the carnaval. THANK YOU ! for play the 13th man.pff losers!!

I’m a dissapointed greek woman!Although from the very beginning i believed that Germany and Russia would manage it.Turkey deserved it as well.Good luck to all of them,eventhough I prefer Germany!!!
