Who will win Euro 2008?
We figured it might be a nice little idea to run a poll each week heading towards the Euros to see what the impact of squad selection, injuries and overall pandemonium might affect the thoughts of the impending tournament. It may stay the same, but what happens if Thierry Henry’s back finally locks up forever or Jens Lehmann goes batshit crazy one day and kills the entire German squad except for David Odonkor. Or more likely happenings such as Pavel Nedved announcing his return.
So here they are. Of all 16 teams, who do you think will win the European Championships?

One vote for Spain to finally play up to their abilities and win it.

Where’s England?

One vote for Germany. Just a feeling.

Inara, they didn’t qualify, actually… (Continuing your sarcasm out for you in a jealous rage since you beat me to the “Where’s England?” joke)

One of the Iberian nations definitely look like good candidates: Portugal and Spain. My heart says Portugal, but my mind says Spain.
Portugal have a long over-due victory.

I wish Portugal would finally win. But without a decent centre forward it is unlikely that they will go very far.

Holland has best team on paper - Van Nistelrooy, Robben, Snijder and Drenthe (Real Madrid), Ryan Babel and Kuyt (Liverpool), Seedorf (AC Milan, Van Der Vaart (Hamburg), Huntelaar (Ajax), and Edwin van der sar (Manchester united)
