By the way, I should also point out that Artur Boruc has a clause in his contract that says he can leave Celtic if;
1. It's for one of the top clubs in Europe. (Man Utd, Barcelona, Real Madrid, AC Milan, Arsenal, Chelsea etc).
AND
2. The price is paid in full to trigger the clause (€20m).
AND
3. Artur is in agreement with the club in question, (eg. If Chelsea came for him and agreed to pay the price but Artur said that he wasn't interested in going to Chelsea, then he would stay at Celtic).
Not too much to ask for a man that earns Celtic €15m - 20m per season in CL revenue and merchandising, and is one of the club's biggest cult heroes, not when you consider that goalies that aren't anywhere near his standard are going for anywhere between €8m and €15m these days.
To put the whole thing in perspective, Craig Gordon went from Hearts to Sunderland in 2007 for €15m.

Chris, Hana, Just to shed some light on the situation. Gone are the days of the rich clubs mugging Celtic! We found Boruc by Legia Warsaw, We bought him and took a chance with him - It Worked (and how). Now when you consider that the TV money Celtic (one of the biggest clubs in the world in terms of support, regular home crowd of 60,000+ for SPL matches) receive is around 2m per season compared to the 35m that an EPL team gets, then why should we sell our goalie, (one of the top 5 goalies in the world), at a knockdown price to what is considered to be one of the richest teams in Europe? As for Sampdoria whining about Celtic asking a 'ridiculous price' for Massimo Donatti, Sampdoria wanted him for less than half of what we paid for him! They know what a quality player he is, and just because he hasn't yet adjusted to the speed of the game in Scotland they want him at 40% of cost price! You tell me who's being ridiculous or should I say insulting.

That's a fair request, Nelson. I'll do some digging.

Hana, Samp also said Celtic was asking a ridiculous sum for Donati. So it's less a Milan thing than a Celtic having difficulties keeping realistic expectations thing. Perhaps they'll come around.

"With Milan seemingly out of the race because he’s too expensive (uh huh)"

Most frustrating comment ever for a Milan fan, especially looking at Boruc's performance today, and then glancing at a certain Brazilian keeper we have.

Schweini's push was just plain idiocy, as much as I like him, and he certainly made an impact when he was subbed in.

Most puzzled, yet amused, expression ever after seeing a picture award: Me. I...I don't even know what to say to that first picture.
