Has anyone else suspected a correlation between warm days/nights and slow and cagey football at the games?

I'm thinking of France/Romania and then this game, Austria/Croatia is another that comes to mind.

The best football seems to me to have been played when the nights were a little cooler or there was rain about to slick things up.

Thoroughly decent person of the day: Rüştü Reçber for consoling what looked like every Croat in the stadium.

Also, Fatih Terim is a sexy beast.

Rüştü Reçber had a slow finish but luckily the Croatians crush under pressure...he's lucky that Turkey got an equalizer or else he'd be the goat...

A 1-1 Draw between the girls today...
