Bracket Predictor in the Home Stretch

June 26th, 2008 | By: Ian Rose | 1 Comment »

There are two games left in Euro 2008, the semifinal between Spain and Russia, and the final between the winner of that match and Germany. So what does this mean? Aside from meaning that bloggers get to sleep more, it also means that the Euro 2008 Predictor Bracket Contest is almost over. Our leader throughout the contest, Elena from Russia, had a lot of faith in her home side, but not as much in Spain or Germany. So we have a new leader, and it’s Leslie from Canada.

There are 40 points left to award in the contest, 12 for picking the winner of the semifinal, and 28 for predicting the winner of Euro 2008. The final winner, be it Leslie or Elena or anyone else, will get a 100 GBP voucher for UKSoccerShop.com. The second, third and fourth place finishers will get a jersey from the Euro 2008 team of their choice from SoccerPro.com.

Good luck everyone. As a side note, I am currently in fourth place, but since I’ve administered this contest, it would hardly be fair if I won something. I didn’t cheat, but I TOTALLY could have.
