Euro 2008 – Bringing People Closer

March 31st, 2008 | By: Daryl | 2 Comments »

Seems a certain four syllable fizzy drink manufacturer is feeling very optimistic about Euro 2008’s power to bring people together. In the first commercial (above) two fans communicate through the language of football. They even make friends with a ticket inspector, which is a notoriously difficult feat.

Below, the same fizzy drink people are pushing a message of national unity in Germany. Even between German baloons and the lesser spotted German cacti.

The second one I remember airing in Greece during World Cup ‘06. Maybe the first one’s from then as well, with the Germany focus and the same slogan and all?

The first one is definitely for Euro 2008, but clearly I’ve got the second one wrong. Thanks Erinti.
