Euro 2008 Fake Photo Competition
We’re pleased to announce a new Euro 2008 themed competition here on World Cup Blog. Prize up for grabs is a 100 GBP gift voucher for UKSoccerShop.com.
To win, just use Photoshop, Microsoft Paint or whatever gets the job done to manipulate a Euro 2008 themed photo, and make us and everyone else at WCB laugh.
The image to the left is a perfect example, courtesy of RomaShield27 from Serie A Forums.
We’ll post some Fake Photos on the site throughout the tournament, and then narrow it down to a small selection of our favourites and open it up to a vote to decide who wins the 100 GBP voucher.
Here are the rules. All Fake Photos must be:
1) Euro 2008 themed
2) Manipulated in some way
3) Original*
Deadline for entries is one week after the Euro 2008 final: July 6th 2008. Any entries received after that day will be ineligible for the competition. Please email all Fake Photos (any format, doesn’t matter) to tips[at]theoffside[dot]com with Fake Photo in the subject line.
Good luck and go get faking.
*we’ll be checking, seriously
uh? my email got rejected.
Cool competition. The deadline is not until 6 July, right? Thats a fair bit away, and considering its not until one week after the final I guess a lot of people will be waiting to enter until the finalists are known, or at least wait to know what big dramas unfold to base an entry on. For example, I’d sad there’d be a few of Cristiano Ronaldo crying after bottling it again when the chips are down against Germany or in the semi’s; or maybe one of Tony Cassano going berserk in the final (yes, I said the final) when the ref calls one against him.
BTW, is there no tag or pin for this blog on the main page?
Any news on the results of this…?
Still no word…?! Any response here? The deadline for entries was July 6th, 10 days ago, surely there is an update on this now?
