Euro 2008 Jersey Poll Tournament: QF2 – Croatia vs Turkey

Time for the second quarterfinal of our Euro 2008 Jersey Poll Tournament, where we’re going to find the champion Euro 2008 shirt via your votes.

Today it’s Group B winners Croatia against Group A runners up Turkey.

Read on to get an eyeful of these two quarterfinalist items of clothing, and vote for your favourite at the bottom.

Form: The tablecloth design (taken from the national coat of arms) of the Croatia home shirt dominated Group B, taking 53% of the vote.

The Turkey shirt came in second in the group of red, possibly because it was the only shirt offering something different with that horizontal white stripe across the chest. It only took 24% of the vote, but Group A was tighter than Group B.

So same colours, different patterns. But which do you prefer? The checkered red and white design of the Croatia jersey or the red with horizontal white stripe of the Turkey jersey? Vote below:

I dont see what the big deal is about the croatia one. It hurts my eyes!

I agree with Drabik. The croatia jersey sucks imo, and it’s not something I’d want to be seen with wearing in public.

Lol. Yea, maybe its a personal vendetta against them, who knows. No, I dont dislike Croatia for beating England (twice). They finished top of the group, and clearly deserved to qualify. However, England should have done better against other teams, and should have collected 6 points against both Macedonia and Israel. Unfortunately, England will not win any Jersey competition (or real competition) in the near future.

I’ve got to say, Portugal should have won their group, but I’m not too disapointed since Turkey was my second because of the white stripe to break the monotony. But in this case it’s Croatia by far. It’s a sort of unique design you don’t see much.
