Euro 2008 Jersey Poll Tournament: SF1 – Germany vs Turkey

Our Euro 2008 Jersey Poll Tournament is now at the semi final stage. Bizarelly our first two quarterfinals mirrored the real tournament exactly, with Portugal taking on Germany and Croatia taking on Turkey.

The winners were Germany and Turkey, so those two jerseys face each other in the semi-final. Read on to take a look at the jerseys and vote for your favourite.

Form: The Adidas Germany shirt finished second in Group B with 30% of the vote (the Croatia shirt finished first) and then beat Portugal in the quarter-final 61% to 39%.

The Nike Turkey national team jersey finished second in Group A with just 24% of the vote, but then pulled off a big win over Croatia in the quarterfinal – 58% to 42%.

So which jersey is better? The three stripe Germany shirt with the horizontal flag merging into the crest design? Or the swoosh Turkey shirt with the single white stripe? Vote below…

Germany 50%

Percentage wise we have a tie. But the actual votes break down to:
Germany 184 votes
Turkey 183 votes

So clearly PollDaddy rounds up (or down). Germany win by the very narrowest of margins, the polling equivalent of penalty kicks.
