Euro 2008 Just Got Even More Idiot Proof
Remember how we told you that Euro 2008 was going to be made easy for fans with good signage? Seems the organizers are delivering on that promise.
Visitors to Austria and/or Switzerland will be able find their way to the hallowed Fan Zones in host cities by looking for the handy sign above, which is pretty hard to misinterpret. Maybe one or two people max will think they’re going to see some sort of live transvestite performance, and those people will doubtless be disappointed. But most will know the sign, along with the Euro 2008 logo, means “big screen, beautiful game, many people.”
So whatever language you speak, or even if you speak no language at all, or even if you’re just a bit of a thicky, there’ll be no excuse for not being able to find a fan zone this summer.
