Euro 2008 Podcast: Logisitics in Geneva, Optimism in Vienna

June 11th, 2008 | By: Daryl | No Comments »

In our first Euro 2008 podcast, Ian welcomes Fan’s Guide author Stuart Fuller to the show. Stuart is on the ground in Swissaustria and gives us a report on exactly what’s going on there, including logistical problems in Geneva, an abandoned bus journey and some Swiss locals making things difficult for touts. Also discussed: do Austria (fans pictured) now have a better shot at the quarterfinals than Switzerland?

There was some non-Euro action this week too with a friendly between Argentina and USA in New York. Ian talks to Dave Martinez of Red Bulls Offside fame, who attended what sounds like an excellent game. Unless you’re Eddie Johnson.
