Mind over matter. And that is where the Dutch are vulnerable. First of all they are over-confident. A big mistake. And then there is the Bouhlarouz tragedy. This is bound to affect their game. The jubilant, all-conquering mood has been shattered. What the ultimate effect on the pitch will be is hard to predict but it is unlikely to do any good. Perhaps their quality will pull the Dutch through, but don't be surprised if the Russians steamroll over them. I fear for 4-1 in favour of Hiddink's men. But the Dutch are on fire, the results speak for itself, whilst Russia didn't get far against Spain, beat an unimpressive Greece side and a good performance against an aging Swedish side. Think this will turn out in a 3-0 score for the Dutch, with all due respect to the Russians, but the Dutch will settle for the mistakes made in previous tournaments.
