ForeverZidane, I’m with you. This team has never, ever bored me before. They usually play pretty, even when they lose. They bored me vs. Romania, and they were embarrassing during Netherlands. I thought they played fairly well against Italy given that they had ten men and were missing Ribery. A tantalizing hint of what might have been, and what I hope will be again soon.

Laurie I totally agree with Cantona. Romania was a good solid defensive team but come on people, Les Bleus should’ve attacked with PACE the same way they made a joke of the Azzuri defense in the second half of WC2006 finals. I love the way the Brazilians attack with quick short passes through the middle of the field. This campagin Riberys play making abilities were lacking and therefore no creativity what so ever.
It will take a while before they would bounce back from their badly bruised psyches. I vote for a radical change and welcome Cantona to Les Bleus!
