After losing his big blonde head by retaliating after a rough tackle, Bastian Schweinsteiger is shown the door. The Germans rode a Lukas Podolski brace in their first match, but it was nearly all Croatia today, and it ended 2-1 to the Croatians.

Bastian is not the smartest footballer around. I was dully expecting the first red of the tournament to come from either Cassano, Materazzi or him. Guess I was right.
