EuroVison: Ball Hogs

June 24th, 2008 | By: Laurie | 3 Comments »

Looks like Football Fever is not just a human phenomenon.

Plastic pigs are set up to look as if they play soccer in Meckenbeuren near Friedrichshafen, southern Germany on Tuesday, June 24, 2008. A butcher’s shop installed the scene in front of its store for promotion purposes.

What, you mean they’re plastic? Damn. I had hopes for a high-scoring game here. Although given the size of the goal vs. the size of the goalkeepers, I’m thinking there could be even less scoring than Italy-Spain.

Wait. Is that possible?

For a moment I thought those were real pigs. Cute, nevertheless.
