Miss Euro 2008 – No Longer Just a Depressing Internet Search, and We Have the Pictures to Prove It
If you Google “miss euro 2008″ you get a lot of sad, sad stories. Mostly about how the likes of Tomas Rosicky and Ryan Babel won’t be featuring this summer. But some sympathetic souls in Rust, Germany took it on themselves to make that particular search just a little bit happier.
They held a “Miss Euro 2008″ beauty pageant, featuring one rather attractive lady from each of the 16 nations. A bit like our Euro 2008 Jersey Poll Tournament only using actual people instead of team shirts.
The lady in red (pictured) is the victorious Dominika Huzvarova of the Czech Republic. So congrats to the Czechs, who now officially produce great beer and great women. That might even make up for being without Tomas Rosicky this summer.
There aren’t many details on the story, but for those interested in the intricacies of football themed international level beauty pageants there are lots and lots of images below…

Were the competitions bikinis, evening wear, questions, and who can do the most keep ups?
Actually, I believe they wore bikinis under their evening wear, answering questions while doing keepy-ups. Because it’s all about talent.
