Vote: Which Euro 2008 Team Bus Has the Best Slogan?

May 1st, 2008 | By: Daryl | 19 Comments »

Euro 2008 standard coachOver at UEFA’s Euro 2008 website, fans of all 16 teams have voted on which slogans to emblazon on the team buses. The results are pretty revealing.

German fans for example, went for the all business “Germany – one team – one purpose” slogan, which seems to sum up the German team’s confidence and determination. Turkish fans expressed their famous passion with a metaphysical quastion: “Can this bus contain the passion of Turkey?” while Romanian fans are apparently just happy to be there: “Romania, we are proud of you and we love you.”

Meanwhile Spanish fans are apparently bracing themselves for disappointment with the ominous “Whatever happens, SPAIN FOREVER.”

Read on to see the slogans as they appear on the buses, and vote for you favourite in the poll at the bottom…

Daryl, it’s all lined up for tomorrow. Pedro’s a frigging font of information. He’s a top commenter and makes me feel warm and fuzzy since he’s basically one of three people who acknowledge the presence of my Portuguese football bloggings.

FRA: Live together, celebrate together

Sigh.

They will never, ever beat WC ‘06 slogan, the exquisite “Liberté, égalité, Jules Rimet.”
