Poll: Who Will Win Euro 2008?

It’s time for our weekly “Who Will Win Euros” Poll.

Last week’s vote was close, but in the end it was Germany who won out with 18% of the vote. Italy was a close second with 17%, followed by France with 15%. Don’t like those results? Round up fellow fans of your team and get them to vote in this week’s poll.

Happenings this week that may affect your vote:

Netherlands released their provisional squad list. And Jonathan de Guzman isn’t on
it.
Austria has revised its squad.
Slaven Bilić announced his Croatian squad, and he has signed a new contract.
France is relying on old guys. But Thierry Henry is coming on strong, with three goals in the last two matches for Barcelona.
Poland has made some cuts.
Turkey has postponed their squad announcement. Does this mean that Hakan Sukur will be left off the roster?

@ Tim. I dont really see Craotia being a surprise but I guess I can see you point when you compare them to the big names. Portugal should advance from their group but I dont see them making it past the quarters.

I dont think there is one team that sticks out as the favourite although Im sure those italians would disagree because they are always the best in their minds. Final Four in my mind will be France, Germany, Croatia and Netherlands. Who will win Its too hard to say. I like the french’s experience, Germany always seems to find a way, Croatia is a dangerous squad to underestimate and the orange have a dynamic midfield. WE will see.

Croatia never defend they attack and immeadiately comes came back to defend Italy is not better than Croatia Croatia has better players and of course the best midfield in Europe France is old full of Africans WE ARE CROATS AND WE WILL BE THE NEW CHAMPION IF AUSTRIA LOSES FIRST GAME TO CROATIA GERMANY AND POLAND WILL SUFFER JUST REMEMBER ENGLAND AT WEMBLEY THEY THOUGHT WE’RE GONNA DEFEND LIKE BABIES WHO’S BETTER THAN RAKITIC,MODRIC,SRNA,EDUARDO WHEN COMES BACK,PETRIC,PRANJIC,KLASNIC GREECE WON EURO 04 CROATIA WILL WIN EURO 08 .

Croatia are the best team and everyone will find this out at euro 08 just like England did.Nobody can come to Wembley and beat England like we did especially on crucial match like that.I mean nobody Rakitic,Srna,Modric,Kranjcar,Pranjic,Petric,Eduardo,Corluka best in Europe we can win Euro 08 without Eduardo and when we do everone won’t be saying we won it because we have brazilian in our team.

POLL says closed bet here’s my 2 cents.
1st off, FUCK you, to the guy saying Fuck specific teams (2nd down from top of the blog), with that outta the way let’s talk futbol pendejos.

NETHERLANDS WILL WIN, they have the physical aspect and the technique, not to mention some of the best players in the world, Van Persie, Robben and the Van. I think their VanBasten, Gullitt, Koeman glory days are back.

Italy is favorite on the chart but Italy is lucky to be in this tournament, Piro is old and Buffont’s luck is running out. The world cup should have been won by France anyhow, but Zidane chose to put his fore-head in baby girl’s chest.

Italy is like Argentina, the description is: Full of Yourself, whiners, divers. Italy will have their drama when they get spanked by the Netherlands.
