well, the whole world may be predicting an EASY portuguese win but i will say tha tgermany will go through after a tough match. The same hols good in group c. i expect Italia to trounce spain. the funny thing is that all the critics and fans are taken in by the group stage results and they are boldly and blindly predicting a Portugal vs Holland final.

This should be a fantastic match. I’m not really sure that I can say who will win, it’s really too close to call in my opinion.

I definitely think that Germany will do better than some people seem to be expecting though; even though Portugal is dynamite.

Greg, I never said we don’t delete offensive comments. I was referring to the borderline ones, such as “France takes players from Africa.” Not genuinely (or at least overtly) racist, merely uninformed. Some people have called for them to be deleted, but I feel that in these cases deletion serves no purpose.

The comment on this post wasn’t borderline, that was over the line, and Daryl is deleting it as I’m typing this.

can’t tell actually who will win, i predict a close one. Portugal showed they play a great football, Germany is..Germany..they know how to win a tournament even when they are not that impressive.

It was a pity that Portugal lost the game but Germany did it pretty good, well done guys!
