Teams Travel in Style for Euros

During the African Cup of Nations back in February, one of the big stories was the lack of accommodations for the teams. The Black Stars from Ghana, the host nation, found themselves out on the street when their hotel realized they could make more money by renting their rooms out to other customers.

I don’t think the teams in Euros will be facing the same discomfort. This is a photo of the Beau-Rivage Hotel, the five-star accommodations where Cristiano Ronaldo and the rest of the Portuguese team will be staying.

Not to be outdone, the France team will be staying at the Le Mirador Kempinski hotel in Mont-Pelerin. Also five stars. This one overlooks Lake Geneva. Want to see what their pool looks like? Click on this link. I don’t know about you, but I was impressed.

And sorry, fans of Cristiano Ronaldo and Thierry Henry. Security at these establishments is going to be tight.
