Vote: Who Will Win Spain-Russia?
Congratulations to us! We’ve gotten two in a row right. We picked Spain over Italy in the quarterfinals, and now we’ve picked Germany over Turkey. (But the Turks sure gave everybody a run for their money, didn’t they?)
We now have a chance to make it three. All it will take will be a majority of us making the right choice. Easy, right?
So tell us: Who will win Spain-Russia?

Soccer Slut,
Spain is playing against three things. A red-hot Russian team, Aragones and most daunting of all, destiny.
Russia 2 Spain 2, Russia scores in OT.

Yes
Russia is very good.
Yes
Russia have confidence.
Yes Guus is a tactical genius.
BUT
1. Aragones isn’t a bad coach himself (maybe he talks too much and says things that he shouldn’t say but he is still good)
2.Spain have an amazing team.
3.Spain beat Italy so they can beat anyone if they play well (and they weren’t even playing that well that day)
4.Spain also have alot of confidence as well, but are eager to kill the sayings that Spain are underachivers
5.Bringing the past into the argument is stupid because this is a new team.

The Russian team does not have the right…ah…tone for Aragones to be able to use his famous motivational methods to get the his players to perform for this huge match. The Russian winter wins again!

Of course Russia’s going to win, since Gazprom has bought out the EURO 2008, just like it bought out the Eurovision:). How can a team that hardly could move and lost 1:4 to quite a mediocre rival, overnight become a winning horse? Only it’s “managers” persuade its rivals and what’s more important, motivate them not to strain themselves.
Europe is becoming a well paid “sparing partner” of Russia, in politics, in sports in everything they can get a little bit of that oil-gaz share.
This Euro 2008 is a disgrace not only to football , but to the human dignity as well.
The final game will be between Russia and Germany, and who know better how to bend over to Russia, if not Germany:)))
