Sucks for Raul. He’s pretty much done everything right recently. Hasn’t caused any trouble and just got on with playing. But good to see Bojan in the 31.

As a fan of Spanish national team I fully support this decision. Spain has never won anything with Raul as captain and now he’s not as good as Torres or David Villa. His inclusion in the squad would spark unecessary conflicts on why he’s sitting on the bench and put the pressure on the aforementioned duo. Better to stick with Guiza and Bojan on the bench.
